I've been incredibly passionate about video games from a very early age, and had a gamepad in my hand as soon as I could hold on. Some of my earliest and fondest childhood memories are playing against my brothers in the classic GoldenEye on the Nintendo 64. When I was 10 I was an extra in a TV show and with my first ever paycheck in my life bought a Xbox with Halo CE which proceeded to blow my tiny mind. It was the first time I truly saw the power of total immersion that games can offer, that being a passive viewer wasn't an option but that it was the only medium that required active participation. When it came time to choose my career, there was no second guessing. From a quality assurance intern into a lead design role in under 6 months and whilst still a student, and now with 4 successful games launched to date, I've carved out my spot in the industry. I want to drive innovative design forward, challenging preconceived ideas of what games are, what they can be, and who they're for, and I can't wait to see what's next.
