Warhammer 40,000: Regicide is a turn-based strategy game set in the brutal Warhammer 40,000 universe. With chess-based movement combined with a deep combat system, victory in Regicide requires you to outmaneuver and outwit your opponents to achieve victory.
My Contribution:
Level Design
-Total ownership of all single player levels
-Implementing pacing, tutorialising, peaks and troughs, boss fights throughout the campaign
-Designing all levels, from cover layouts to ally and enemy units and their placements
-Creating and submitting scheduling documents, keeping on track while producing high-quality content
Game Design
-Contributed the core combat design; unit abilities, unit statistics (health, armour, accuracy, damage) faction abilities, ability cooldowns etc
-Assisting with overall game design, suggesting mechanics, features and tweaks, testing and reporting
Quality Assurance
-Organising and running hundreds of testing sessions across multiple devices
-Creating feedback forms and documents, analysing and summarising data for game and level design
-Creating detailed and easy-to-read bug and task tickets, assigning priority and time estimates
UI / UX Design
-Heavily involved in redesigning and rebuilding the UI for mobile devices
